It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

Well, today is Friday but I work tomorrow so everyone celebrate for me! Our challenge this week is a sketch which was perfectly suited for an uptown girl so I choose Madison has a Margerita.

I added white dots to her skirt to imitate tulle, an idea I saw on Tracy's blog and loved. My papers are a gift from my wonderful friend Patty and is Birdsong by Graphic 45. I thought the umbrellas reminded me of the little ones you get in your drink. I guess I am wishing for warmer weather and tropical drinks! Ok, next week our theme is "Your so sweet" and with Valentines Day coming up it would be a perfect time to make a card for a loved one. And make sure to check out our SCS page, challenges, chatting and lots of pictures to see!

Oooo I do love that paper too! And the dots on the skirt are awesome - VERY cool accent! And that bow is really cool TOO. Can't tell if it's printed stripes or a textured material - but it's looks really neat!

Sorry to hear you have to work tomorrow, but I hope you have a great weekend! (Bundle up and stay warm since the snow's coming)

Oh Amanda, I just love this card! I love the idea of the white dots on her dress, so don't be surprised when you see a card on my blog with it. lol... I will totally give your credit. :O) I love that paper and the ribbon just makes the whole card take it all together and pop! I had to work today and again tomorrow, but I sooooo can not wait until after tomorrow after 1pm. I am so going to get crafty. That is if I don't have to take a nap first. lol... Have a great weekend and don't work too hard. Hugs, Lisa
